After the very moving donation and support of Iara Lee in 2021, the recognition of the important work of the festival, promoting acceptance as long as highlighting social and individual inequalities, caused the very substantial sponsorship of the Norwegian, NINA BACKER-RØED, who pointed out a few things:
"I have been following the Peloponnisos International Documentary Festival for a few years now and decided to offer a donation to the festival administration. It is a pleasure for me to be able to support this documentary festival, which I find has important goals that I also applaud. For me the award of the festival dealing with Equality is the most interesting thing."
