With this year tribute being music in documentary, Peloponnisos International Doc Film Festival returns for the 9th year. One of the most important parts of the tribute talks about the life and work of the great composer Ennio Morricone, including the comic exhibition "Sketching Ennio" and the screening of the multi-award winning documentary "Ennio: The Maestro" by Giuseppe Tornatore, in collaboration with the Ennio Morricone Music Association of Greece.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Wednesday, October 25 at 18:00 in the presence of the curator and comic artist, Yiannis Antonopoulos, who will talk about the exhibition, at the Cultural Center of Kalamata. The screening of the film will take place on Thursday, October 26 at 20:15 at the amphitheater “Theodoros Aggelopoulos”.

2. "Ennio the Cinephile" (2022): 26 stand-alone comic works by the same number of artists based on selected films among the leading ones (except Westerns).
3. "Ennio Goes Western" (2023): 25 stand-alone comic-book based drawings solely on respective Western movies.
