The 9th Peloponnisos International documentary Festival pays tribute to music, with 16 documentaries interspersed throughout the programme, and exceptional parallel activities.
On 27th October, we have the screening of “Musicalement Autre”, a documentary directed by Nikolas Moïssakis.
The film tells the true story of Jean Pierre Dussert, autistic, schizophrenic, and a piano virtuoso, and the struggle of flautist Giorgos Nikolaidis to get him released from the institution where he was incarcerated for 27 years, and to help him return to “normal” life, thanks to music.

After the screening, the protagonists of the documentary, who are coming from France as official guests of the festival, will give a recital.
