Life Is Not A Competition, But I'm Winning

Nearly no other part of society is so rigidly separated by gender as the world of sports. In a mixture of fiction, documentary and archival footage, LIFE IS NOT A COMPETITION, BUT I'M WINNING searches for the queer-feminist potential in the Olympic disciplines of running. The film envisions a world beyond stereotypical gender categories. A colourful utopia in cinemascope.
