Charalambos Margaritis is a graduate of the National Superior School of Fine Arts of Paris. He is an animator and a visual artist. His work focuses on mixed media animation, printmaking, drawing and installation. He has presented his artworks and films in several exhibitions and festivals around the world. He currently lives and works in Paphos, Cyprus, where he co-founded, in 2015 the Kimonos Art Center. At the same time, he teaches animation, art history and drawing in the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts of the Cyprus University of Technology. Since 2015, he is the director of Kimonos Animation Studio, and, since 2017, the founder and artistic director of the international animation festival The Animattikon Project.
