The Kalamata Documentary Center implemented in October 2021 a youth exchange program titled DocumAction created within the ERASMUS + Learning program. The program was attended by 35 young people and 7 youth group leaders from 7 different countries along with Greece, Croatia, Portugal, Romania, France, Italy and Estonia.
The participants stayed in Kalamata for 8 days and were introduced to the art of Documentary, got to know our city and its beauties, but also observed the challenges that the city and its inhabitants face. The result of their collaboration was 6 mini-documentaries, which depict issues of the city, through the eyes of young people.
The documentaries were presented for the first time in Kalamata on October 12, 2021 and then in the various cities that participated in the program.
