He announced the winners:

The award for Best Greek Documentary goes to two equal entrees:

-The Music of Things by Menios Carayannis and

-The Fourth Character by Katerina Patroni

Because of the quality of the films and the gentle approach to the themes of loneliness and loss.

The physical prize was carved by the sculptor Christos Riganas. The two directors will have to divide the 2000 euro prize following the award win, sponsored by the Municipality of Sparta.

The committee including Eleni Alexadrakis (director), Robbie Eksiel (journalist, film critic) and Konstantinos Blathras (journalist, film critic), has decided on some Honorable Mentions:

-1000 Square Meters of Time by Maro Anostopoulou, for her gentle and human approach to scientific and historical material.

-The Weavers by Dimitris Koutsiampasakos, for the bittersweet gaze in an unknown story about philanthropy and trade from abroad along, around a traditional art.

-Sundays by Alethea Avramis for the honesty that she transcribed such a personal feeling that ends up universal.
